கர்த்தாரில் ஆறுதல்
வனாந்திரம் – தொடர்
ஆதியாகமம் 16: 8-21
கர்த்தருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தம், " நான் உன்னைப் பெரிய ஜாதியாக்கி, உன்னை
ஆசீர்வதித்து, உன் பேரைப் பெருமைப்படுத்துவேன்; நீ ஆசீர்வாதமாய் இருப்பாய்."
(ஆதியாகமம் 12: 2)
ஆதியாகமம் 15: 4 ல் "உன் கர்ப்பப்பிறப்பாயிருப்பவனே உனக்குச்
சுதந்தரவாளியாவான்" என்று கர்த்தர் வாக்குறுதி அளித்தார்.
ஆபிராமின் சந்ததியினர் குறித்து வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கப்பட்டு பத்து வருடங்களுக்கு மேல்
ஆகிவிட்டது. பத்து வருடங்கள் கர்த்தரின் வாக்குறுதிக்காக காத்திருப்பது நீண்ட நேரம்
போல் தெரிகிறது.
(ஆதியாகமம் 16: 1–16; 17: 18–26; 21: 1–21), ஆபிரகாமின் மனைவி சாராள் (அப்போது
சாராய்) குழந்தைகளைப் பெற முடியாமல் இருந்தாள். அவள் தன்
அடிமைப்பெண்ணாகிய ஆகாரை அழைத்து, பிள்ளைபெறும்படிக்கு அவளைத் தன்
புருஷனாகிய ஆபிரகாமுக்கு (அந்த நேரத்தில் ஆபிராம்) மறுமனையாட்டியாகக்
கொடுத்தாள்.
ஆகார் கர்ப்பவதியான பிறகு, சாராய் அவளைக் கடினமாய் நடத்தினபடியால் அவள்
அவளைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போனாள். ஆதி 16: 6
கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் பாலைவனத்தில் ஒரு நீரூற்றுக்கு அருகில் ஆகாரைக் கண்டான்
கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அவளை வனாந்தரத்திலே இருக்கிற நீரூற்றண்டையில்
கண்டு:
நீ உன் நாச்சியாரண்டைக்குத் திரும்பிப்போய், அவள் கையின்கீழ் அடங்கியிரு
என்றார்... உன் சந்ததியை மிகவும் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன்; அது பெருகி,
எண்ணிமுடியாததாயிருக்கும் என்றார் (ஆதி 16: 7-9 )
ஆகார் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட இதயத்துடன் திரும்பினாள். அவள் நடந்த முழுவதையும்
ஆபிராமுக்கும் சாராயிடமும் சொன்னாள், அப்ராம் குழந்தைக்கு இஸ்மாயில் என்று
கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் சொன்னது போலவே பெயரிட்டான்.
வழக்கமான உறவுகளுக்கு நாம் பொருத்தமற்றவைகளை மற்றும் பொது, அது
சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அனைவருக்கும் மன வேதனையை மட்டுமே தருகிறது.
ஆகார் குழந்தையை பெற்றெடுத்த பிறகு அவளை அற்பமாக எண்ணினாள். நம்மிடம்
நமது அன்புக்குரியவர்களோ அல்லது மேலதிகாரிகளோ சிலவற்றை செய்ய கூறும்
பொது நாமும் இதை சந்தித்துள்ளோம் அல்லவா?
அவர்கள் விரும்பியதை அவர்கள் விரும்பியபடி செய்கிறோம். ஆனால் அவர்கள்
விரும்பியது அதுவல்ல. திடீரென்று, அவர்கள் நம்மிடம் கோபப்படுகிறார்கள், நம்மை
திட்டுகிறார்கள், நாம் சரியாகச் செய்தாலும்.
இஸ்மவேல் ஆபிரகாமின் வீட்டில் பிறந்து வளர்ந்தார்.
திடீரென்று, ஆகரின் அந்தஸ்து ஒரு அடிமையிலிருந்து ஆபிரகாமின் முதல்
குழந்தையின் தாயாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டது. எஜமானியாய் இருந்த சாராய் மலட்டுப்
பெண்ணாகத் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டாள் (ஆதி 16: 4-5).
நம்மை விட குறைவான அந்தஸ்து உள்ளவர்கள் அல்லது நம்மை விட அதிக சிரமத்தில்
இருப்பவர்களை நாம் எப்படி பார்க்கிறோம்? நாம் அவர்களை எப்படி நடத்துகிறோம்?
அவர்களை எப்படி உணர்கிறோம்?
இஸ்மவேலும் ஆகாரும் பாலைவனத்திற்கு வெளியேற்றப்பட்டனர், இருப்பினும்
இஸ்மவேலை மிகவும் அதிகமாகப் பலுகவும் பெருகவும் பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர்
உறுதியளித்தார். (ஆதி 17:20)
சில நேரங்களில், நாம் கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசனத்தைப் பெறலாம், அதைச்
ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்காமல் தொடரலாம். நாம் அதைக்குறித்து ஆலோசனை பெற்று
ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும். நாம் நமது சொந்த சிந்தனையில் செயல்பட்டால், நாம் சிக்கலில்
மாட்டிக் கொள்ளலாம்.
சாராய் கர்த்தருக்காக காத்திருந்தால் பிரச்சனையை தவிர்த்திருக்கலாம்.
கர்த்தர் நம்மை கைவிடமாட்டார். கர்த்தர் ஆகாரின் மீதும் நோக்கமாய் இருந்தார்.
அவளை தேற்றுவதற்காக ஒரு தூதனை அவளிடம் அனுப்பினார். அவளுடைய மகன்
எண்ணற்ற அளவுக்கு அதிகமான சந்ததியினரின் ஒரு பெரிய ஜாதியாக்குவேன் என்று
அவர் கூறினார்.
தன்னோடே பேசின கர்த்தருக்கு "நீர் என்னைக் காண்கிற தேவன்" என்று அவள்
பேரிட்டாள். "என்னைக் காண்பவரை நானும் இவ்விடத்தில் கண்டேன், ஆகையால்,
அந்தத் துரவு பெயர் லகாய்ரோயீ என்னப்பட்டது. (ஆதியாகமம் 16:13).
பீர்-லஹாய்-ரோய் என்பதற்கு "என்னைப் காண்கின்ற ஜீவனுள்ளவரின்
கிணறு" என்று ஒரு வேதாகம விளக்கவுரை குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
ஆகார் கர்த்தரின் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டாள் அதனால் அவள் திரும்பவும் வீட்டில்
சேவையில் தொடர ஆறுதலையும் வலிமையையும் பெற்றார். கர்த்தர் இஸ்மவேலை
ஆசீர்வதிப்பதாக ஆகாருக்கு அளித்த வாக்குறுதிக்கு உண்மையாக இருந்தார்.
ஆபிரகாம், இஸ்மவேல் மற்றும் அவரது குடும்பத்தினர் கர்த்தருக்காக பிரதிஷ்டை
செய்யப்பட்டனர். (ஆதி: 17-25)
ஜெபிப்போம்:
கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என்னை காண்கின்றீர். நீர் எல் ரோய். நீர் எல்லாவற்றையும்
காண்கின்றீர், ஒவ்வொரு சூழ்நிலையிலும் உம் கரம் எங்கள் மீது இருக்கிறது. இன்று,
என் வனாந்திர பாதையில், தயவுசெய்து என்னுடன் வாரும், உம் உதவியுடன்
என்னிடம் வாரும். என்னிடம் வந்து என்னை பசுமையான மேய்ச்சலுக்கு அழைத்துச்
செல்லுங்கள், உம் ஆறுதலையும், உம் வலிமையையும், உம் அமைதியையும் எனக்குக்
தாரும். நான் உம்மை முழுமையாக நம்புகிறேன். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில். ஆமென்.

Hope to the Hopeless
John 5:1-16
This man at the pool at Bethesda was weak, feeble, and unable to stand, unable to walk for 38 years.
There was a great crowd of people paralyzed, blind, lame, sick all waiting for the water to be troubled. Out of that crowd, Jesus picked one man.
He did not empty the five porches, healing everybody.
He did not invite them all to come down so that he might lay hands on them.
He went to only one man.
It shows us how God proposes to deal with human helplessness and weakness. Undoubtedly it was the helplessness of this man that drew Jesus to him.
We all can see ourselves, in a sense, helpless, weak, crippled and lame, lying at the pool of Bethesda. We all need help.
We all find ourselves paralyzed at times, unable to do the thing we want. We find we are lame: we do not walk very well spiritually.
There are many people today who do not want to be healed.
They do not want to receive divine help for their problems.
They do not want to be helped out of their weakness.
They love their weakness, their helplessness.
They are always craving the attention of others through their helplessness.
Jesus asked, Do you want to be healed? He said, Yes, I want to be healed, but I cannot. I've tried, I've done everything I know-how.
I want to get into that water, I want to be healed, but I lack the ability.
I've no one to help me. I've given up. I have no hope.
There are people who have given up on their situation, refusing to believe there is any hope it can be done and changed.
They see no way, from a human viewpoint, so they have resigned themselves to being weak, failing for the rest of their lives.
Perhaps you do not see any hope for your marriage in your personal life. You have tried to correct things.
You have asked for help but nobody seems to care; it only gets worse.
Many people are right where this man was, with a sense of helplessness and hopelessness of making any change.
Jesus said, "Rise, take up your bed, and walk.
First, he asks an impossible thing; secondly, he removes all possibility of a relapse; and thirdly, he expects continued success. All these are involved in the words.
There is always something God tells us to believe, and do, and act on.
This is a word of action.
Jesus does not say, Try to build up faith in your mind. Try to fasten your thoughts.
He says, Rises! Stand up, Walk, Don't turn back.
Now the man is in trouble over the Sabbath restrictions. . One of those ways was carrying any kind of a load on the Sabbath day.
The religious leaders had an intent to obey the Law, but were totally unconcerned about the mercy of God.
Later, Jesus found him. The man had gone to the temple because the Law required that one who had been healed had to make a thanksgiving offering.
Jesus knew where to find him. He said You are made whole.
The fact is that not only he has been physically healed, he has been spiritually healed too.
His sins had been forgiven; he had been washed, he had been cleansed.
He is a new man physically, spiritually, and soulfully.
To that person who has received the gift of wholeness from God, without any merit or earning on his part.
This is the Gospel you and i are called to share to those people who are hopeless. When they come to Jesus, they will become whole.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to rise up and walk and not to be in a position of self-pity. Help us to bring hope to those who are hopeless and we pray that you make us whole again. In Jesus Name. Amen.

நம்பிக்கையற்றவர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை
யோவான் 5: 1-16
பெதஸ்தாவில் உள்ள குளத்தில் ஒரு மனிதன் பலவீனமாகவும், நிற்க
முடியாமலும், 38 ஆண்டுகளாக நடக்க முடியாமலும் இருந்தார்.
அங்கே முடவர்கள், பார்வையற்றவர்கள், நோய்வாய்ப்பட்டவர்கள்
என்று ஒரு பெரும் கூட்டம் இருந்தது அனைவரும் தண்ணீர்
கலங்குவதற்காக காத்திருந்தனர். அந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் இருந்து, இயேசு
ஒரு மனிதனைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தார்.
அவர் அங்கிருந்த ஐந்து மண்டபங்களில் உள்ள எல்லோரையும்
குணமாகவில்லை.
அவர் அனைவரையும் கீழே வரவைத்து அவர்கள் மீது கை வைத்து
அற்புதங்கள் செய்யவில்லை.
அவர் ஒரே ஒரு மனிதரிடம் சென்றார்.
மனிதனின் உதவியற்ற தன்மையையும் பலவீனத்தையும் கர்த்தர்
எவ்வாறு சந்திக்கிறார் என்பதை இது நமக்குக் காட்டுகிறது.
சந்தேகமில்லாமல் இந்த மனிதனின் உதவியற்ற தன்மையே
இயேசுவை அவரிடம் ஈர்த்தது.
நாம் அனைவரும், ஒரு வகையில், உதவிற்று, பலவீனமாக, ஊனமுற்று,
பெதஸ்தா குளத்தில் இருப்பதை காணலாம். நம் அனைவருக்கும் உதவி
தேவை.
நாம் அனைவரும் சில சமயங்களில் தேவையானவற்றை செய்ய
முடியாமல் முடங்கிநிற்கிறோம். நாங்கள் நடக்க முடியாமல்
இருப்பதைக் காண்கிறோம்: நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையில் நாம்
நன்றாக நடக்கவில்லை.
குணமடைய விரும்பாத பலர் இன்று உள்ளனர்.
அவர்கள் தங்கள் பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு தேவனின் உதவியைப் பெற
விரும்பவில்லை.
அவர்கள் தங்கள் பலவீனத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை தரும் உதவியை
விரும்பவில்லை.
அவர்கள் தங்கள் பலவீனம் மற்றும் உதவியற்ற தன்மையை
விரும்புகிறார்கள்.
அவர்கள் எப்போதும் தங்கள் உதவியற்ற தன்மையின் மூலம்
மற்றவர்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்க்க விரும்புகிறார்கள்.
இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி, சொஸ்தமாகவேண்டுமென்று
விரும்புகிறாயா? என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு வியாதிஸ்தன், நான்
சொஸ்தமாக விரும்புகிறேன் ஆனால் தண்ணீர் கலக்கப்படும்போது
என்னைக் குளத்தில் கொண்டுபோய் விடுகிறதற்கு ஒருவருமில்லை,
நான் போகிறதற்குள்ளே வேறொருவன் எனக்கு முந்தி
இறங்கிவிடுகிறான் என்றான். நான் முயற்சித்தேன், எனக்குத் தெரிந்த
அனைத்தையும் செய்துவிட்டேன்.
நான் அந்த நீரில் இறங்க விரும்புகிறேன், நான் குணமடைய
விரும்புகிறேன், ஆனால் எனக்கு திறன் இல்லை.
எனக்கு உதவ யாரும் இல்லை. நான் முயற்சியை விட்டுவிட்டேன்.
எனக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை.
தங்கள் சூழ்நிலையிலே தனது நம்பிக்கையை இழந்தவர்கள்
இருக்கிறார்கள், நம்பிக்கை இல்லாததினால் அதைச் செய்து மாற்ற
முடியும் என்று நம்ப மறுக்கிறார்கள்.
அவர்கள் மனித கண்ணோட்டத்தில் எந்த வழியையும் காணவில்லை,
எனவே தங்கள் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் தோல்வியடைந்து, பலவீனமாக
இருப்பதற்கு தள்ளப்பட்டு இருக்கிறார்கள்.
உங்கள் தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையில் உங்கள் திருமணத்திற்கான எந்த
நம்பிக்கையையும் நீங்கள் காணாமல் போகலாம். நீங்கள் அதை
சரிசெய்ய முயற்சித்தீர்கள்.
நீங்கள் உதவி கேட்டீர்கள் ஆனால் யாரும் கவலைப்படவில்லை; அது
இன்னும் மோசமானது.
இந்த மனிதன் இருந்ததை போல பலர் உதவியற்ற மற்றும் எந்த
மாற்றத்தையும் செய்யமுடியாத நம்பிக்கையின்மையில்
இருக்கிறார்கள்.
இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: எழுந்திரு, உன் படுக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு
நட என்றார்.
முதலில், அவர் அவனால் முடியாத ஒரு விஷயத்தைக் சொன்னார்;
இரண்டாவதாக, அவன் மீண்டும் முடமாவுதற்கான அனைத்து
சாத்தியங்களையும் நீக்குகிறார்; மூன்றாவதாக, அவன் தொடர்ந்து
வெற்றியில் நடக்க எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். இவை அனைத்தும் வார்த்தைகளில்
நடந்தன.
கர்த்தர் எப்பொழுதும் நாம் நம்புவதற்கும், செய்வதற்கும்,
செயல்படுவதற்கும் ஒன்றை கூறுகிறார்.
இது ஒரு செயலுக்கான வார்த்தை.
இயேசு உங்கள் மனதில் நம்பிக்கையை வளர்க்க முயற்சி செய்யுங்கள்,
உங்கள் எண்ணங்களை கட்டுப்படுத்த முயற்சி செய்யுங்கள் என்று
சொல்லவில்லை.
இயேசு, எழுந்திரு! நட, திரும்பி பார்க்காதே என்று கூறுகிறார்.
இப்போது அந்த மனிதன் ஓய்வுநாள் பண்டிகையின் கட்டுப்பாடுகளால்
சிக்கலில் இருக்கிறான். எவ்வாறு எனில், ஓய்வுநாளின் போது எந்த
விதமான சுமையையும் சுமப்பது கூடாதது.
அங்குள்ள மதத் தலைவர்கள் சட்டத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டும் என்ற
எண்ணத்தைக் கொண்டிருந்தனர், ஆனால் கர்த்தரின் இரக்கத்தை பற்றி
முற்றிலும் அக்கறையற்றவர்களாய் இருந்தார்கள்.
அதற்குப்பின்பு இயேசு அவனை தேவாலயத்திலே கண்டார். அந்த
மனிதன் தேவாலயத்திற்கு சென்றான், ஏனென்றால் குணப்படுத்தப்பட்ட
ஒருவர் நன்றிக்கடன் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று நியாயப்பிரமாணம்
உள்ளது.
அவன் எங்கு இருப்பான் என்று இயேசு அறிந்திருந்தார். நீ
சொஸ்தமானாய் என்றார்.
உண்மை என்னவென்றால், அவன் சரீரத்தில் குணமடைந்தது
மட்டுமல்லாமல், அவன் ஆவியில் குணமடைந்துள்ளான்.
அவனுடைய பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டன; அவன் கழுவப்பட்டான்,
அவர் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டான்.
அவன் சரீரத்திலும், ஆவியில், ஆத்துமாவிலும் ஒரு புதிய
மனிதனானான்.
கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து முழுமையின் பரிசைப் பெற்ற அந்த நபருக்கு, எந்தப்
தகுதியும் இல்லாமல் மற்றும் தனது பங்கில் ஒன்றும் செய்யவிலை.
இதுவே நற்செய்தி, இதையே நீங்களும் நானும்
நம்பிக்கையற்றவர்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம்.
அவர்கள் இயேசுவிடம் வரும்போது, அவர்கள் முழுமையடைவார்கள்.

Devotion: John 4: 46-54
Witnessing to Rationalist
By this time Jesus had made His home in Capernaum, the nobleman traveled the 30 kilometers from Capernaum to Cana to meet with Jesus.
He notably had a royalty background and was likely an officer of Herod Antipas.
This certain nobleman was one of many parents who came to Jesus on behalf of an afflicted child.
He obviously came with the passion and urgency of a father of a sick child near to death.
This miracle is a notable one from Jesus.
The little spark of faith in the heart of this nobleman by Him lit up into a clear and enduring flame for the light and comfort of himself and his house.
The nobleman did not appeal to Jesus on the basis of his noble status.
Jesus discouraged the nobleman from asking for a miracle.
Yet this request shows that the nobleman properly understood that Jesus did not intend to discourage asking Jesus for miraculous help, only to discourage a faith that seeks only the miraculous.
Jesus severely tested this man’s faith, forcing him to believe in Jesus’ word alone and not in any outward demonstration of the miraculous signs.
Despite the test, the man took Jesus at His word and departed.
The nobleman demonstrated that true faith is simply taking Jesus at His word.
Jesus rebuked those who depended on signs and wonders before they would believe.
Jesus did not use any dramatic effects in this healing.
Real faith may perceive and accept the outward demonstration of the miraculous but does not require it.
The nobleman believed it before the evidence.
When Jesus proclaimed the boy healed, he was in fact healed
The miraculous power of Jesus developed greater faith in both the nobleman and his household. He believed before, but now he believed more.
His faith was deepened by his personal experience of God’s power.
Signs and wonders from God are obviously good things, but they should not form the foundation of our faith. We should not depend on them to prove God to us.
In themselves, signs and wonders cannot change the heart.
Israel saw incredible signs at Mount Sinai and even heard the very voice of God, (Exodus 19:16-20:1), yet a short time later they worshipped a gold calf (Exodus 32:1-6).
While we ask God to do signs and wonders among us today, its faith is what God wants us to believe.
The samaritans lady believed without any sign, the nobleman believed without any sign.
We must believe that God can work through us without any signs even these days. Let us build our faith in Him.
Let’s Pray:
Heavenly Father, Thank you, Lord, for helping us understand the real meaning of faith in action. Help us to increase in faith in sharing the gospel. Help us to have faith that you will empower us when we share the gospel with others.
In Jesus' name, AMEN.

பகுத்தறிவாளருக்கு சாட்சியாய்
கப்பர்நாகூமிலே தங்குவதற்காக இயேசு அங்கு வந்து சேர்ந்த நேரத்தில்,
அவரை சந்திக்க பிரபுக்களில் ஒருவன் 30 கிலோமீட்டர் பயணம் செய்து
கானா ஊருக்கு வந்தான்.
அவர் ராஜாவின் மனுஷரில் ஒருவரானதினால் ஏரோதின் அதிகாரியாக
இருந்திருக்கக்கூடும்.
இயேசுவை சந்திக்க வந்த பிரபு, பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்காய்
அவரை காண வந்த பல பெற்றோர்களில் ஒருவர்.
அவர் மரணத்திற்கு போராடும் நோய்வாய்ப்பட்ட குழந்தையின்
தந்தையாக அங்கு ஆர்வத்துடனும் அவசரத்துடனும் வந்தார்.
இந்த அற்புதம் இயேசுவின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அற்புதத்தில் ஒன்று.
இந்த பிரபுவின் இருதயத்திலிருந்த சிறிய தீப்பொறிபோல உள்ள
நம்பிக்கை அவரால் உருவானது, அதுவே தெளிவான நீடித்த சுடராக
எரிந்து, அவருக்கும் அவர் வீட்டிற்கும் ஆறுதலையும் வெளிச்சத்தையும்
தந்தது.
அந்த பிரபு இயேசுவிடம் அவருடைய அந்தஸ்தின் அடிப்படையில்
முறையிடவில்லை ஆனால் அவரது மகனின் பெரும் தேவையின்
அடிப்படையில் அங்கு வந்தார். ஒரு பிரபுவாகவோ ராஜாக்களின்
மனிதராகவோ அவர் இயேசுவிடம் வருவது அவருக்கு எந்த பலனும்
இல்லை.
ஒரு அற்புதத்தை அந்த பிரபு இயேசுவிடம் கேட்கவேண்டாம் என்று
அவருக்கு உணர்த்தினார்.
ஆயினும் இயேசு அவருக்கு உணர்த்தியது, இயேசு தேடுவதை அல்ல
ஆனால் அற்புதத்தை மட்டுமே தேடும் நம்பிக்கை வேண்டாம் என்று
அந்த பிரபு சரியாக புரிந்துகொண்டார் என்பதை காட்டுகிறது.
இயேசு இந்த மனிதனின் விசுவாசத்தை கடுமையாக சோதித்தார்,
அவரை இயேசுவின் வார்த்தையை மட்டும் நம்பும்படி செய்து,
வெளிப்புறமாக எதையும் செய்யவில்லை.
சோதனை இருந்தபோதிலும், அந்த மனிதன் இயேசுவின் வார்த்தையை
ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு புறப்பட்டான்.
உண்மையான விசுவாசம் என்பது இயேசு கூறும் அவருடைய
வார்த்தையை அப்படியே ஏற்றுக் கொள்வது என்று அந்த பிரபு
நிரூபித்தார்.
அடையாளங்கள் மற்றும் அற்புதங்களை கண்டால் மட்டுமே
விசுவாசிப்பவர்களை இயேசு கண்டித்தார்.
இந்த குணப்படுத்துதலில் இயேசு எந்த வியத்தகு விளைவுகளையும்
பயன்படுத்தவில்லை.
உண்மையான விசுவாசம் அற்புதத்தின் வெளிப்புற ஆர்ப்பாட்டத்தை
உணர்ந்து ஏற்கலாம் ஆனால் அது அவசியமனதில்லை.
அற்புதம் நிகழ்ந்துவிட்டது என்று காண்பதற்கு முன்பே பிரபு அதை
நம்பினார்.
"உன் குமாரன் பிழைத்திருக்கிறான்" என்று இயேசு அறிவித்தபோது,
அவன் உண்மையில் குணமடைந்தான்.
இயேசுவின் அற்புத வல்லமை அந்த பிரபு மற்றும் அவரது குடும்பத்தில்
அதிக நம்பிக்கையை வளர்த்தது. அவர் முன்பு நம்பினார், ஆனால்
இப்போது அதிகமாக நம்பினார்.
கர்த்தரின் வல்லமையை பற்றிய அவரது தனிப்பட்ட அனுபவத்தால்
அவரது நம்பிக்கை ஆழமானது.
கர்த்தாரிடத்திலிருந்து வரும் அடையாளங்களும் அற்புதங்களும் நல்ல
காரியங்களே, ஆனால் அதுவே நம் விசுவாசத்தின் அடித்தளமாக
இருக்கக்கூடாது. கர்த்தரை நமக்கு நிரூபிக்க நாம் அவைகளை சார்ந்து
இருக்கக் கூடாது.
அடையாளங்களும் அற்புதங்களும் மட்டுமே நம் இருதயத்தை மாற்ற
முடியாது.
இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் சினாய் மலையில் நம்பமுடியாத
அடையாளங்களைக் கண்டும் மற்றும் கர்த்தரின் குரலைக் கூட
கேட்டார்கள், (யாத்திராகமம் 19: 16-20: 1), ஆனால் சிறிது நேரம் கழித்து
அவர்கள் தங்கக் கன்றுக்குட்டியை வணங்கினர் (யாத்திராகமம் 32: 1-6).
இன்று நம்மிடையே அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும்
செய்யும்படி நாம் கர்த்தரிடம் கேட்கும் போது, விசுவாசத்தையே கர்த்தர்
நம்மிடம் விரும்புகிறார்.
சமாரிய ஸ்திரீ எந்த அடையாளமும் இல்லாமல் விசுவாசித்தாள், பிரபு
எந்த அடையாளமும் இல்லாமல் விசுவாசித்தார்.
இந்த நாட்களில் கூட எந்த அறிகுறிகளும் இல்லாமல் நம்மூலமாய்
கர்த்தர் வேலை செய்ய முடியும் என்று நாம் விசுவாசிக்க வேண்டும்.
அவர் மீது நம் விசுவாசத்தை வளர்ப்போம்.

John 4: 1-26
Witnessing to Strangers
Jesus had a divine appointment by Jacob’s well where He asked a favor from a Samaritan woman. It was completely unexpected.
The Samaritan women came to draw water, she came in an unusual hour and she came alone.
It was also very unusual for a Jewish person of that time to ask a favor or accept a drink from a Samaritan’s cup, but Jesus’ request surprised the woman.
Jesus did not diminish His glory by asking for the help and cooperation of the Samaritan woman. Rather, He opened up a conversation and turned it to spiritual matters she did not understand.
He created a spiritual thirst within her by pointing out her need for God.
Jesus knew that this woman had to come to this well daily to satisfy her natural thirst, so he used thirst as a picture of the spiritual need and longing that everyone has.
Jesus does not give a direct answer to the woman’s question. Instead, he makes a statement designed to make her more curious and prompt additional questions.
So, when the woman asked Jesus to give her the water, he then speaks of her sinful life and asked her to call her husband to come there.
He brought up this issue because her sinful life had to be confronted and she had to decide what she loved more, her sin or the Messiah.
He was truthful with her, but also loving, he did not condemn her. He treated her with grace and respect and revealed to her the hope she had always longed for.
Every Christian is to be active in sharing with others the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Here we see how Jesus accomplishes it with a woman that would have been considered by the religious community of the time to be an outcast who was too far away from God to merit any attention.
We must demonstrate a true interest in others, be kind to those who don’t expect it and ask them questions and show genuine interest in their answers.
Even though Jesus spoke of eternal life, the woman still did not understand the nature of what Jesus was talking about, remember that Satan has blinded the eyes of the unbelieving so that they cannot see or understand spiritual truth (2 Corinthians 4:4).
Don’t be discouraged when those you talk to about spiritual things do not understand.
Let’s follow His example in reaching out to those scorned by a religious society, but still are being loved by God.
We need to tell them about the God they do not know.
We are to speak the truth to them in love by giving them hope they did not know they could have.
Let’s Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You for this beautiful story of this woman and the lovely way that Jesus opened up the scriptures to her in order to reveal to her His person and work. Thank You that Christ has revealed Himself to us and that by faith in Him we can drink of His living water and have a well of water spring up into everlasting life. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

யாக்கோபின் கிணற்றினருகே இயேசுவுக்கு ஒரு தெய்வீக நியமனம் இருந்தது, அங்கு அவர்
ஒரு சமாரியப் பெண்ணிடம் உதவி கேட்டார். இது முற்றிலும் எதிர்பாராதது.
அந்த சமாரிய ஸ்திரீ தண்ணீர் மொள்ள வந்தாள், அவள் ப்ரெம்பாலும் யாரும் வராத ஒரு
வேளையில் வந்தாள், அவள் தனியாக வந்தாள்.
அந்த சமயத்தில் ஒரு யூத நபர் ஒரு சமாரியனின் கோப்பையிலிருந்து தண்ணீர் குடிப்பதோ
அல்லது தயவு கேட்பதோ மிகவும் அசாதாரணமானது, அதனால் இயேசுவின் வார்த்தை
அந்தப் பெண்ணை ஆச்சரியப்படுத்தியது.

அந்தப் பெண்ணின் கேள்விக்கு இயேசு நேரடியாக பதிலளிக்கவில்லை. அதற்கு பதிலாக,

ஒதுக்கட்ட பெண் என்று அக்கால சமூகத்தால் கருதப்பட்ட பெண்ணுடன் இயேசு எவ்வாறு
தொடர்புகொண்டார் என்பதை இங்கே பார்க்கிறோம்.
நாம் மற்றவர்கள் மீது உண்மையான ஆர்வத்தை வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டும், அதை
எதிர்பார்க்காதவர்களிடம் அன்பு காண்பித்து, அவர்களை விசாரித்து, அவர்களிடன்
உண்மையான அக்கறை காட்டவும் வேண்டும்.
இயேசு நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பற்றி பேசினாலும், அந்த பெண் இன்னும் இயேசு பேசும்
தன்மையைப் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை, ஆவிக்குரிய உண்மையைப் பார்க்கவோ
புரிந்துகொள்ளவோ முடியாதபடி சாத்தான் கண்களை குருடாக்குகிறான் என்பதை நினைவில்
வையுங்கள் (2 கொரிந்தியர் 4: 4).
ஆவிக்குரிய விஷயங்களைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் பேசுபவர்களுக்கு புரியாதபோது சோர்வடைய
வேண்டாம்.
சமுதாயத்தால் அவமதிக்கப்பட்டாலும் கர்த்தரால் நேசிக்கப்படுவதால் அவர்களை
அணுகுவதில் இயேசுவை முன்மாதிரியைப் பின்பற்றுவோம்.
தேவனை தெரியாத அவர்களுக்குத் அவரைபற்றி நாம் சொல்ல வேண்டும்.
அவர்கள் பெற முடியும் என்று அவர்களுக்கு தெரியாத நம்பிக்கையை, அவர்கள்
பெற்றுக்கொள்ள நாம் சத்தியத்தை அன்புடன் அவர்களுக்கு சொல்ல வேண்டும்.

Jesus and an Intellectual
John 2:23-3:15
Nicodemus was one of those impressed by Jesus’ signs (John 2:23), and a member of the ruling Sanhedrin.
He was religious , educated , influential, Yet was ernest enough to come by night.
Nicodemus came to Jesus as a representative of all men (John 2:23-25), and in a sense he represented what is highest and best in men.
Jesus replied to Nicodemus saying that unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
This shattered the Jewish assumption that their racial identity and their old birth assured them a place in God’s Kingdom.
Jesus made it plain that a man’s first birth does not assure him of the kingdom; only being born again gives this assurance.
Moral or religious reform isn’t enough. One must be born again. For a radical conversion by the Spirit of God. We must be born of water and the Spirit.
Without the new birth of the Spirit, the flesh taints all works of righteousness. Yet, everything that a Spirit-led man does can be pleasing to God.
Nicodemus was confused. He was so set in his thinking that the new birth has already happened to him and all of faithful Israel, that he had a hard time thinking differently. Jesus had to keep explaining.
Jesus wanted Nicodemus to know that he didn’t have to understand everything about the new birth before he experienced it.
Jesus then made a remarkable statement, explaining that the serpent of Numbers 21:4-9 was a picture of the Messiah and His work.
Serpents are often used as pictures of evil in the Bible (Genesis 3:1-5 and Revelation 12:9). However, in Numbers 21 was made of bronze, and bronze is a metal associated with judgment in the Bible.
A bronze serpent does speak of sin, but of sin judged.
In the same way Jesus, who knew no sin became sin for us on the cross, and our sin was judged by Him. A bronze serpent is a picture of sin judged and dealt with.
Even though Jesus bore our sins, He never became a sinner. Even His becoming sin for us was a holy, righteous, act of love. Jesus remained the Holy One throughout the entire ordeal of the cross.
He must die because He would save, and He would save because He did love.
The term Lifted up is used to describe both Jesus’ crucifixion (John 12:32) and His ascension (Acts 2:33).
Both meanings are in view, His suffering and exaltation. Jesus was lifted up in both ways.
The idea behind eternal life means much more than a long or never ending life.
Eternal life does not mean that this life goes on forever.
Jesus was focused in helping Nicodemus understand the limitations of his knowledge about the kingdom of God, unless one experiences it, they will never understand.
Help people indulge in prayer, reading and explaining of the word towards a born again experience.
Prayer:
Dear lord, Help us to lead people to the born again experience. Not just transformation but a true radical change to experience you in their lives. In Jesus name. Amen.

அவர் பக்தியுள்ள, படித்த, செல்வாக்கு மிக்கவர், ஆனாலும் இராக்காலத்திலே வருவதற்கு

புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டியதில்லை என்று அவர் அறிந்து கொள்ள இயேசு விரும்பினார்.
இயேசு ஒரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அறிக்கையை வெளியிட்டார், எண் 21: 4-9 ல் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள
கொள்ளிவாய்ச் சர்ப்பமானது மேசியா மற்றும் அவரது வேலையின் சித்தரிப்பு என்று
விளக்கினார்.
சர்ப்பங்கள் பெரும்பாலும் வேதாகமத்தில் தீமையானவைகளுக்கு பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன
(ஆதியாகமம் 3: 1-5 மற்றும் வெளிப்படுத்தல் 12: 9). இருப்பினும், எண்ணாகமம் 21 ல்

நியாயம்தீர்க்கப்பட்ட பாவம்.
இயேசு நம் பாவங்களைச் சுமந்தாலும், அவர் ஒருபோதும் பாவியாகவில்லை. அவர் நமக்கு
பாவமாக மாறினதும் கூட ஒரு பரிசுத்தமான, நீதியான, அன்பின் செயலாகும். சிலுவையின்
முழு சோதனையிலும் இயேசு பரிசுத்தராக இருந்தார்.
நம்மை இரட்சிக்க அவர் மரிக்க வேண்டும், நம்மை நேசித்தால் அவர் நம்மை இரட்சிக்கிறார்.
"உயர்த்தப்பட்டு" என்கிற வாக்கியம் இயேசு சிலுவையில் அறையப்படுதல் (யோ 12:32)
மற்றும் அவர் பரலோகத்துக்கு ஏறுவது (அப் 2:33) இரண்டையும் விவரிக்கப் பயன்படுகிறது.
இரண்டு அர்த்தங்களும் இதில் உள்ளன, அவருடைய பாடுகளும், அவர் உயர்த்தப்படுவதும்.
இயேசு இரண்டிலும் உயர்த்தப்பட்டார்.
நித்திய ஜீவன் என்பது நீண்ட அல்லது முடிவற்ற வாழ்க்கையை விட அதிகமானது.
நித்திய ஜீவன் என்பது இந்த வாழ்க்கை என்றென்றும் நீடிக்கும் என்று அர்த்தமல்ல.
நிக்கொதேமு கர்த்தரின் ராஜ்யத்தைப் பற்றிய தனது அறிவின் வரம்புகளைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள
உதவுவதில் இயேசு கவனம் செலுத்தினார், ஒருவர் அதை அனுபவிக்காவிட்டால், அவர்கள்
ஒருபோதும் புரிந்து கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள்.
ஜனங்கள் மீண்டும் பிறக்கும் அனுபவத்தை பெறுவதற்கு நாம் ஜெபித்து, வேதத்தை வாசித்து,
வார்த்தையை அவர்களுக்கு விளக்க உதவுவோம்.

அன்புள்ள ஆண்டவரே, மீண்டும் பிறக்கும் அனுபவத்திற்கு ஜனங்களை வழிநடத்த எங்களுக்கு

Different kind of People
Acts 1:8
You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.
It is his will, plan, and purpose that, we shall be His witnesses. Being a witness is to share about what God has done in our life.
Witnessing is about we talk to people about Christ, what he has done for you and for the entire world, helping them understand why the world today is a lost world.
Making the world understand they need to transform their thinking, their morality that it can only be done by trusting and believing in God.
We must understand that our reasoned logic, our arguments are of no effect whatsoever in this.
It must be the expression of the Holy Spirit within us.
The Holy Spirit is the One who is preparing these people.
He is doing his work.
He is preparing them. He has them prepared all around us.
“Lift up your eyes and look on the fields; “the Lord Jesus says, “for they are white already to harvest.” [John 4:35]
These prepared, hungry hearts, hearts yearning for answers, are all around us.
Our job is simply to be so available to the Lord, that as we make contact from day to day, we can be used of Him to find who they are and carry this witness forward.
There are different kinds of people that you will run into, we must allow Holy Spirit to lead you, be ready to say to them about Christ because all witnessing is about Christ.
We might meet people who are indifferent, skeptics, atheists, morally troubled, people who have a defeated life, people living without hope.
The Holy Spirit is able to draw an indifferent man to him.
We must help them see the person of Christ the One who is righteous.
We must help them understand that the ruler of this world has been judged. That the devil is already a defeated foe.
And there’s release, deliverance, a word of release for all of them.
Whatever we talk and whoever we talk to, it is Christ that is the answer.
Witnessing is never about yourself except as it is saying what Christ did for you.
