2 Corinthians 10:3-5
The worldly War
When we live in this world, we must not try to evade the challenges. We must not try to run away from life.
It is basically unchristian to run away from the problems of life, to seek a shelter where we can live out our years without encountering the difficulties around us.
Jesus lived life up to the handle and associated with those distressed with grievous problems, emotionally, physically, and in every other way.
This is our role as a Christian. We must not adopt a head-in-the-sand attitude.
We live in the world but the weapons of our warfare are not worldly."
We do not face life the same way. We fight in another dimension, and yet our fighting is not weak; it is powerful. It wins, it succeeds, it is mighty.
One of the chief rules of warfare is, know your enemy. You can never be successful as a soldier if you do not know something of the tactics of the enemy.
This is true in military conflict and it is true in spiritual warfare as well. The second rule of warfare is, know your weapons. Know what you have to meet the enemy with, and know how to use them.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood" (Ephesians 6:12 KJV), he says, but we wrestle against these who are working through the minds and thinking of men. How else can you explain the evil that keeps cropping up in human society
It is not enough we engage in preaching, or teaching the truth, or handing someone a New Testament, or a Bible or a tract. That is not what the Scripture means when it speaks of proclaiming the gospel.
Remember how Paul exemplified this when he went to the city of Corinth, where the people were living lives of immorality, shame, sordidness, and pagan barrenness, by arguments, and reasonings.
Paul told them, When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. (1 Corinthians 2:1-2). That is, I did not come to debate with you. I did not come with the wisdom of this world.
I did not come to cancel out your arguments with a counter-argument. I did non come to debate philosophy. I came to declare to you that in Jesus Christ there is relief, release, and deliverance from the pride of the human heart; pride is slain by the cross.
When you accept what this cross means, and what this One who died for you has done, and you kneel at his feet, there is released in your life a power that cancels out your pride.
When you bring this to the community, and God begins to work with you on a different scale. That is the power of the gospel. That is the power of the Christian. That is the message that will, alone, help society.
It is the only way out, there is no another. It is not merely one of certain alternatives by which the world can work out its problems.
It is the only way out. When you begin to believe that, you will find a compassion awakening in your heart that has never been there before for your neighbors, your friends, and others who struggle on in the painful problems of life.
You have the solution in your hands, the story of this One who can break the shackles of men, who can set them free.
We must understand how great is this program that God has put in our hands.
When you start working with compassion, There is great power released which will transform society.
Prayer:
Our Father, we do thank you for the glory of the gospel. Grant to us then, Lord, that we may give thanks from full hearts for what you have done for us, and increase our longing to impart it to others. We pray In Jesus name, Amen.

உலகத்தின் போர்
நாம் இந்த உலகில் வாழும்போது, சவால்களைத் தவிர்க்க முயற்சிக்காமல் அவற்றை சந்திக்க வேண்டும். நாம் அவற்றிலிருந்து தப்பி ஓட முயற்சிக்காமல், அவற்றை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
வாழ்க்கையின் போராட்டங்களையும், நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள கஷ்டங்களை எதிர்கொள்ளாமல், தப்பித்து கொள்ள ஒரு அடைக்கலத்தை தேடி, எந்த சிக்கல்களும் இல்லாமல் ஜீவிக்க முயற்சிப்பது கிறிஸ்துவத்தன்மை அற்றது.
இயேசு பல போராட்டங்களை சந்தித்தார், உணர்வுப்பூர்வமாகவும், உடல் ரீதியாகவும், எல்லா வழிகளிலும் போராட்டங்களை சந்தித்தவர்களுடன் இருந்தார்.
ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவராக இது நம்முடைய பங்கு. ஒரு பிரச்சினையையோ அல்லது சூழ்நிலையையோ அங்கீகரிக்க வேண்டும், அதை புறக்கணிக்க கூடாது.
நாம் இந்த உலகில் வாழ்ந்தாலும் நமது போரின் ஆயுதங்கள் மாம்சத்துக்கேற்றவைகள் அல்ல.
நாம் வாழ்க்கையை மாமிசத்தில் எதிர்கொள்வதில்லை. நாம் மற்றொரு பரிமாணத்தில் போராடுகிறோம், என்றாலும் நமது போர் பலவீனமானது அல்ல. அது வல்லமை வாய்ந்தது. அது வெற்றி பெறுகிறது, அது வலிமையானது.
போரின் முக்கிய விதிகளில் ஒன்று, உங்கள் எதிரியை அறிந்து கொள்வது. எதிரியின் தந்திரங்கள் உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாவிட்டால் நீங்கள் ஒரு போர் வீரனாக ஒருபோதும் வெற்றிபெற முடியாது.
உலக பிரகாரமான ராணுவ போரை போல இது ஆவிக்குரிய போரிலும் உண்மை. போரின் இரண்டாவது விதி, உங்கள் ஆயுதங்களை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். எதிரியை எவ்வாறு சந்திக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், உங்கள் ஆயுதங்களை எவ்வாறு பயன்படுத்துவது என்று தெரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.
நாம் மாம்சத்தோடும் இரத்தத்தோடும் போராடவில்லை "(எபேசியர் 6:12), என்று அவர் கூறுகிறார். நாம் மனிதர்களின் மனதிலும் சிந்தனையிலும் கிரியை செய்பவர்களுக்கு எதிராக நாம் யுத்தம் செய்கிறோம். மனித சமுதாயத்தில் வளர்ந்து வரும் தீமையை நீங்கள் வேறு எப்படி விளக்க முடியும்?
நாம் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை போதித்து, உண்மையைக் கற்பித்து, ஒரு புதிய ஏற்பாடு, அல்லது ஒரு வேதாகமத்தையோ அல்லது ஒரு துண்டுப்பிரதிகளையோ ஒருவருக்குக் கொடுத்தால் மட்டும் போதாது. வேதம் நற்செய்தியைப் பரப்புவது பற்றி பேசுவது, இவற்றை அல்ல.
ஒழுக்கமின்மை, அவமானம், பாகால் வழிபாடு, வாதங்களால் வாழும் கொரிந்து நகர மக்களுக்கு பவுல் இதை எவ்வாறு எடுத்துக்காட்டினார் என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்ளுங்கள்.
பவுல் அவர்களிடம், நான் உங்களிடத்தில் வந்தபோது, தேவனைப்பற்றிய சாட்சியைச் சிறந்த வசனிப்போடாவது ஞானத்தோடாவது அறிவிக்கிறவனாக வரவில்லை. இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை, சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்ட அவரையேயன்றி, வேறொன்றையும் உங்களுக்குள்ளே அறியாதிருக்கத் தீர்மானித்திருந்தேன்.(1 கொரிந்தியர் 2: 1-2). அதாவது, நான் உங்களுடன் விவாதிக்க வரவில்லை. நான் இந்த உலக ஞானத்துடன் வரவில்லை என்று கூறினார்.
உங்கள் வாதங்களை எதிர் வாதத்துடன் நிறுத்த நான் வரவில்லை. நான் தத்துவ விவாதத்திற்கு வரவில்லை. மனித இரூதயத்தின் பெருமையிலிருந்து விடுதலை மற்றும் ஆறுதல் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் உள்ளது என்பதை நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்க வந்தேன்; பெருமை சிலுவையால் அழிக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த சிலுவையின் அர்த்தத்தையும், உங்களுக்காக மறித்தவர் என்ன செய்தார் என்பதையும் நீங்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது, நீங்கள் அவருடைய பாதத்தில் முழங்கால் படியிடும் போத, உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் உங்கள் பெருமையை அழிக்க அவருடைய வல்லமை வெளிப்படுகிறது.
நீங்கள் இதை சமூகத்திற்கு கொண்டு வரும்போது, கர்த்தர் உங்களை வல்லைமையாக பயன்படுத்துவார். அதுதான் நற்செய்தியின் வல்லமை. அதுதான் கிறிஸ்துவை உடையவர்களின் வல்லமை. அது தான் சமூகத்திற்கு உதவும் செய்தி.
இது ஒன்றே வழி, வேறு வழி எதுவும் இல்லை. உலகம் அதன் பிரச்சினைகளை தீர்க்கக்கூடிய சில மாற்றுகளில் இது ஒன்றல்ல.
இது ஒன்றே வழியாகும். நீங்கள் அதை விசுவாசிக்க தொடங்கும் போது, உங்கள் இரூதயத்தில் உங்கள் அக்கம்பக்கத்தினர், உங்கள் நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் வாழ்க்கையின் பிரச்சனைகளில் போராடும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு இதுவரை இல்லாத ஒரு மனதுருக்கம் உங்களில் உருவாவதை காண்பீர்கள்.
உங்கள் கைகளில் தீர்வு உள்ளது, மனிதனின் பிணைப்பை உடைக்கக்கூடிய, அவர்களை விடுவிக்கக்கூடிய ஆண்டவரை பற்றிய செய்தி.
கர்த்தர் நம் கையில் வைத்திருக்கும் இந்த திட்டம் எவ்வளவு பெரியது என்பதை நாம் புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
நீங்கள் மனதுருக்கத்துடன் வேலை செய்யத் தொடங்கும்போது, சமூகத்தை மாற்றும் பெரும் வல்லமை வெளியிடப்படுகிறது.

2 கொரிந்தியர் 10: 1-4
எங்கள் போரின் ஆயுதங்கள்:
- பவுல் கொரிந்தியர்களின் விசுவாசிகளை சாந்தத்தோடும் மென்மையோடும் அணுகி, அவர்களுடன் இருக்கும்போது நான் பயப்படுகிறேன் என்றும் அவர்களிடமிருந்து தொலைவில் இருக்கும்போது தைரியமாக இருப்பேன் என்றும் சொல்கிறார்.
இந்த உலகத்தின் தரத்தின்படி வாழ்கிறோம் என்று நினைக்கும் சிலரிடம் நான் எதிர்பார்க்கும் அளவுக்கு தைரியமாக இருக்க வேண்டியதில்லை என்று நான் உங்களிடம் கெஞ்சுகிறேன் என்று பவுல் கூறுகிறார்.
அவர் இதைச் சொல்வதற்குக் காரணம், பவுல் கொரிந்திய விசுவாசிகள் மீது கோபமடைகிறார், ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் உலக இன்பங்களைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து பாவிகள் மற்றும் கேலி செய்பவர்களின் வழியில் நடந்தார்கள். அடிப்படையில், கொரிந்தியர்கள்:
அன்னிய தெய்வங்களை நம்பி வழிபட்டனர். யாகங்கள் செய்து, கோவில்கள் கட்டினார்.
புகழ், பெருமை, பணம் மற்றும் பாலியல் ஒழுக்கக்கேடு ஆகியவற்றிற்கு பின்னால் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருந்தனர். சுதந்திர சிந்தனையாளர்களாக இருந்தனர், அவர்கள் விரும்பும் எதையும் செய்ய முடியும் என்ற மனப்பான்மையை அவர்கள் வளர்த்துக் கொண்டனர்.
பவுல் மற்றும் அவரது போதனைகளுக்கு எதிரான விமர்சனம் அதிகரித்து
தேவாலயம் பிரிவினைகளை கடந்து ஒற்றுமை இல்லாமல் இருந்தது. (I கொரிந்தியர் 3)
தேவனின் உருவமாகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் நற்செய்தியின் ஒளியை அவர்கள் பார்க்க முடியாதபடி சத்துரு அவிசுவாசிகளின் மனதை குருடாக்கியுள்ளது . (2 கொரிந்தியர் 4: 4)
இந்த நடைமுறை விஷயங்களுக்கிடையில், பவுல் ஒரு விசுவாசமான வாழ்க்கையை நடத்த அவர்களை ஊக்குவிக்க, கிறிஸ்து கொடுத்த சாந்தம் மூலம் விசுவாசிகளை அணுக விரும்பினார்.
திருச்சபை மற்றும் விசுவாசிகள் ,இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிப்பதையும் வழிபடுவதையும் இலக்காகக் சுற்றியுள்ள விஷயங்கள் இவை ,என்பதை பவுல் தெளிவாக அறிந்திருந்தார்.
பவுல் , அவர்கள் இந்த உலகத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் என்றாலும், போர் இந்த உலகத்தின் மாம்சத்திற்கு எதிரானதல்ல ,தீய சக்திகளுக்கு எதிரானதாகும் என்று பவுல் அறிந்திருந்தார்.(எபே. 6:12).
இருளின் இராஜியத்திற்கு எதிராக போராட, உலக ஆயுதங்கள் பயன்படுத்தப்படாது மற்றும் பயன்படுத்த முடியாது, ஆனால் வலுவான கோட்டைகளை இடிக்கும் சக்தி கொண்ட வலுவான ஆயுதங்கள் உள்ளன.
எபேசியர் 6 இல், இந்த கட்டுகளை எவ்வாறு வெல்வது என்பதை பவுல் கற்பிக்கிறார்.
நீதியின் மார்பகம் அமைதின் நற்செய்தியுடன் தயார் நிலையில் பொருத்தப்பட்ட கால்கள்
நம்பிக்கையின் கவசம்,இரட்சிப்பின் தலைக்கவசம் ,ஆவியின் கேடகம்
இவை தேவ கவசத்தின் கூறுகள் ஆகும், மேலும் இது தேவனின் வார்த்தை, மற்றும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மீதான நம்பிக்கை ஆகியவற்றுடன் ஒன்றிணைக்கப்படும்போது இதை முழுமையாக பிணைக்க முடியும்.
நாம் வேலைக்குப் பின் ஓடி, நம் குடும்பங்களைப் பார்க்கிறோம்.
அதே நேரத்தில், நம் இதயம், ஆன்மா, மனம் மற்றும் வலிமையை குறிவைக்கும் ஆவிக்குரிய போரின் ஒரு அடுக்கு நம்மைச் சுற்றி உள்ளது என்பதை நாம் கவனத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
சத்துரு எப்போதும் நம் ஜெபத்தின் நேரத்தை பறிக்க போராடுகிறான் .தேவனின் வார்த்தையை தடுப்பதன் மூலம் ,எதிர்மறை எண்ணங்களால் நம் மனதிற்கு உணவளிக்கிறான், சில நேரங்களில் தேவனுடன் நேரத்தை செலவிடாமல் நம் நேரத்தை சமூக ஊடகங்களில் செலவிட வைக்கிறான்.
கட்டுக்களுக்கு எதிராக நாம் எப்படி போராடப் போகிறோம்?
கர்த்தரிலும் அவருடைய வல்லமையிலும் பலமாக, தேவனின் முழு கவசத்தையும் அணியுங்கள், இதனால் நாம் பிசாசின் திட்டங்களுக்கு எதிராக உ ள்ள நிலைப்பாட்டை எடுக்கலாம் .மற்றும் எல்லா சந்தர்ப்பங்களிலும் அனைத்து வகையான
விண்ணபங்களோடு ஜெபிப்போம்.

தேவனே, எங்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய சுவர்களை வலுப்படுத்தவும், ஜெபத்தின் மூலம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மீதுள்ள நம்பிக்கையை உயர்த்தவும் எங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யும்...... ஆமென்

The Weapons of our Warfare
2 CORINTHIANS 10:1-4
The Weapons of our Warfare:
- Paul approaches the believers of the Corinthians with meekness and gentleness and tells them that he is timid when he is with them and bold when he is far away from them.
Paul says In v2 I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.
The reason he tells this is because Paul gets angry with the Corinthian believers because they were running after worldly pleasures, walked in the way sinners, and mockers do.
Basically, the Corinthians:
Believed and worshipped in pagan gods,
Offered sacrifices and built temples for these gods,
People were running after fame, pride, money, and sexual immorality.
People were free-thinkers, they developed an attitude that they can do anything they wanted to do.
Criticism against Paul and his teachings was on the rise and also false preachers
The church went through divisions and lacked unity (I Corinthians 3)
The gods of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the Glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4)
Amidst all these practical matters, Paul still chose to approach the believers through gentleness and meekness that Christ has given to him to encourage and motivate them to lead a holy life.
Paul clearly knew that these are the entities that revolve around spiritual warfare that is targeted against the church and the believers from believing and worshiping Jesus Christ.
Paul says in v3-v4, though they belong to this world, the war is not against the flesh of this world (not materialistic) but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph 6:12).
To fight against the kingdom of darkness, worldly weapons are not used and cannot be used, but there are strong weapons that has the divine power to demolish strongholds.
In Ephesians 6, Paul teaches how to overcome the strongholds.
Belt of truth
Breastplate of righteousness
Feet fitted with the readiness that comes along with the gospel of peace
Shield of faith
Helmet of Salvation
Sword of the Spirit
These are the components of the Armor of God, and this can be fully woven when it is interlinked with the word of God, prayer, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We live in a time where our minds are too preoccupied and busy running after work and looking after our families.
At the same time, we need to be mindful that there is a zone layer of the spiritual warfare around us that targets our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
The enemy often fights to snatch away our prayer time, feeding our minds with negative thoughts by blocking the word of God, sometimes he keeps us too busy in social media without our acknowledge wasting our time from spending time with the Lord.
How are we going to fight against our strongholds?
Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power and wear on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Eph 6:10) and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Eph 6:18)
Prayer: Dear Lord, help us to fortify our spiritual walls and raise our watchtowers through the word of God, prayer, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Binding Satan
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians. 5:1).
The most common cause of spiritual weakness in a Christian or a church is a failure to recognize the flesh in its disguise of being religious but not righteous.
Like Peter flashing a sword in Gethsemane, the fleshly Christian thinks he is doing God's will and fighting God's battles for him.
Christians are told to "resist the devil". Resisting the devil is done by putting on the whole armor of God, as Paul describes it in Ephesians 6.
The "binding and loosing" mentioned in Matthew 18:18 refers to the agreement in the prayer of believers. This is the promise of God revealed in his Word.
Galatians 5:19-21 clearly tells us that lust, hatred, discord, jealousy, rage, envy, sexual orgies, and the like are not the work of demons but of the flesh.
It is impossible to "cast out" the flesh during this lifetime, rather we must recognize its evil character, refusing to yield mind or body to its impulses, and turning immediately to Jesus for the supply of his strength and purity.
Romans 6:13: Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
Christians identify the flesh in themselves, by means of the Word of God, and to follow the pattern the Word describes to keep the flesh in subjection to the spirit and the individual is free to live as the Lord has already made provision.
We must understand the root cause of our behavior and discern before we bind the spirit. Many of us live in disguise to fool ourselves declaring that we are under spiritual attack, while we know it is the flesh that we struggle and are unwilling to disclose, let go, or resist it.
We must exercise self-control over the patterns of the world by subjecting ourselves to the spirit.
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires, but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. Romans 8:5
If you can bind your disguise, you are binding the plots of satan through the disguise.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to have the heart of discernment to understand our fleshly desires to remove our life in disguise. Help us to be righteous and truthful to you. In Jesus Name. Amen.

கிறிஸ்து நம்மை விடுதலையாக்குவதற்கே விடுவித்தார். நீங்கள்
மறுபடியும் அடிமைத்தனத்தின் நுகத்துக்குட்படாமல், கிறிஸ்து நமக்கு
உண்டாக்கின சுயாதீன நிலைமையிலே நிலைகொண்டிருங்கள்.
(கலாத்தியர். 5: 1).
ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவரோ அல்லது திருச்சபையோ ஆவியில் பலவீனமாய்
இருப்பதற்கு பொதுவான காரணம் நீதியாய் இல்லாமல், பக்தியோடு
இருப்பது போல் தோற்றம் அளிக்கும் மாமிசத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளாமல்
இருப்பது.
கெத்செமனே பூங்காவிலே பேதுரு தன் பட்டயத்தை உருவினது போல,
மாமிசத்திலுள்ள கிறிஸ்தவர் தான் கர்த்தரின் விருப்பத்தைச்
செய்வதாகவும், யுத்தங்களில் கர்த்தருக்காக சண்டையிடுவதாகவும்
நினைக்கிறார்.
கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு "பிசாசை எதிர்த்து நில் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
தேவனுடைய சர்வாயுதவர்க்கத்தையும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவதன் மூலம்
பிசாசை எதிர்த்து நிற்க முடியும் என்று பவுல் எபேசியர் 6 இல்
விவரிக்கிறார்.
மத்தேயு 18:18 இல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள "கட்டுதலும்,
கட்டவிழ்க்கப்படுவதும்" விசுவாசிகளின் ஜெபத்தில்
ஒன்றிணைந்திருப்பதை குறிக்கிறது. இதுவே இந்த வார்த்தையில்
வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட கர்த்தரின் வாக்குறுதியாகும்.
காலாத்தியர் 5: 19-21, விபசாரம், வேசித்தனம், அசுத்தம், காமவிகாரம்,
விக்கிரகாராதனை, பில்லிசூனியம், பகைகள், விரோதங்கள்,
வைராக்கியங்கள், கோபங்கள், சண்டைகள், பிரிவினைகள்,
மார்க்கபேதங்கள், பொறாமைகள், கொலைகள், வெறிகள், களியாட்டுகள்
போன்றவை பிசாசின் வேலை அல்ல, ஆனால் மாம்சத்தின் வேலை
என்று நமக்கு தெளிவாகக் கூறுகிறது.

ஆண்களும் பெண்களும் ஒரு நகரம் போன்றவர்கள். மனிதம் ஒரு நிறுவனம் போல, அதில் அமைப்புகள் மற்றும் துணை அமைப்புகள் உள்ளன, அவை வாழ்க்கை தொடர திறமையாக செயல்பட வேண்டும். இந்த அமைப்புகளில் எல்லைகளும் அடங்கும். அவை உடையும் பொழுது சிக்கல்கள் உருவாகின்றன.
